The single non-emergency number (SNEN) was introduced in Hampshire as part of a Home Office initiative to improve community safety.
101 was initially designed for the reporting of anti-social behaviour issues, but can now be called for all non-emergency contact with Hampshire Constabulary. In emergencies you should dial the 999 emergency line.
Eastleigh West Safer Neighbourhoods Team
The Safer Neighbourhoods Team is made up of police officers, special constables. police community support officers or volunteers. Inspector Patrick Holdaway is responsible for the officers who cover the Eastleigh Neighbourhoods and Sgt Mark O Hanlon is responsible for the Safer Neighbourhood team covering Chandler's Ford and Velmore.
Locally the Safer Neighbourhood team work with the community to reduce the incidence of anti-social behaviour, alcohol related incidents and criminal damage.
